The God of War and the son of Zeus and Hera. Despite being a full God, Ares has always felt Zeus prefers his half-mortal brother to himself, and so he dislikes Zeus and Hercules, siding with Hera in the fight against Hercules. Although Zeus' protection means he cannot kill Hercules, he tries to make his life as hard for him as possible, as well as trying to get others to kill Hercules for him. |
