	Hercules, played by Kevin Sorbo Half man, half god, Hercules is the greatest hero in all of Greece. The son of Zeus, King of the Gods, and the mortal woman Alcmene, Hercules uses his his divine strength in the aid of all people. His father was never really there for him and Hercules looked to the centaur Ceridan, who was his master at the academy as well as a father figure. The gods have mixed feelings towards him, and he is constantly battling those who wish him dead.


	Iolaus, played by Michael Hurst (1) Iolaus has been the best friend of Hercules since they were at the academy as children, learning how to fight. A former thief, Iolaus has long since repented his unlawful ways and is now a force for good, traveling with Hercules and saving people.
