Ares, played by Kevin Smith (2)
The God of War and the son of Zeus and Hera. Despite being a full God, Ares has always felt Zeus prefers his half-mortal brother to himself, and so he dislikes Zeus and Hercules, siding with Hera in the fight against Hercules. Although Zeus' protection means he cannot kill Hercules, he tries to make his life as hard for him as possible, as well as trying to get others to kill Hercules for him. |

Zeus, played by Anthony Quinn
King of the Gods and father of Hercules, Zeus has always been a fan of the fairer sex and his infidelity with Alcmene resulted in Hercules. Hera hates both Hercules and Zeus because of this and Zeus is constantly trying to stay on her good side and will rarely aid Hercules against her, although he has put his protection on Hercules so the other gods cannot harm him. Zeus' relationship with his son is strained, but deep down he cares for him and will go out of his way to help Hercules if he really must, even if that means angering Hera.

Hera, played by Meg Foster
Hera is Hercules' evil stepmother and Queen of the Gods. She resents Hercules and sees him as a symbol of Zeus' infidelity. She cannot kill the him outright due to the protections Zeus has bestowed on him, but she has no problems with getting others to attempt the task and she delights in making his life miserable. |

Autolycus [Seasons 2-6], played by Bruce Campbell (1)
They call him the king of theives. He can steal anything from anyone. Suprisingly he and Hercules become friends, although Hercules would never admit it, when Hercules realizes he isn't really a bad person. |

Salmoneus, played by Robert Trebor
Salmoneus will do whatever he has to to make money and has tried several get-rich-quick schemes in the past - toga-selling, writing biographies, and founding the Olympic Games to name a few. While a good man deep down, Salmoneus' love of money often gets him into a lot of trouble. |

Iphicles [not until season 2], played by Kevin Smith (2)
Iphicles is Hercules' older brother. He was always jealous of Hercules' strength and believed that their mother preferred Hercules. He and his brother had a falling out and seperated long ago. They were re-united when Hercules found Iphicles posing as him in order to win the heart of Rena, the daughter of the warlord Gorgus. When Jason was forced to abdicate the throne of Corinth in order to wed Alcmene, Iphicles was chosen as his succesor and became King of Corinth. |

Aphrodite, played by Alexandra Tydings
She is the godess of love and half sister of Hercules. She is not the most responsible or smart god but she is one of the few that Hercules get along with well and actually likes. |

Nebula [Seasons 3-6], played by Gina Torres
A pirate leader/sumarian princess Hercules meets in a cave and saves from a monster. Since then she and Hercules became good friends and Hercules turns to her when he needs to get a ride on a boat to places. |

Morrigan [season 5], played by Tamara Gorski
An irish woman/ druid warrior who Hercules falls in love with when he goes to Ireland. They fight together to prevent the world from being taken over by Dahak in the fifth season. She is also the druid of justice and was originally a warrior of evil, fighting to oppress the people who were worshiping the druids instead of the irish gods. Hercules turned her to the side of good and together they fight to stop the greatest evil the world has ever seen. |
