Homefront

Set after the G.I.'s returned from World War II, Homefront originally followed Lt. Hank Metcalf's return to middle America River Run, Ohio, eager to wed his Sarah, unaware that in his absence she had fallen in love with his younger brother Jeff. Their hard-working mother Anne and highly independent middle sister Linda face a crisis of a different kind; having worked at the local factory while the men were away, they are both fired to make way for the returning GI’s.
