| 2 :01x02 - Take My Hand (Jul/28/1992) | | The Sloans learn that Gina (deceased son's wife) is pregnant. They offer her money to leave town. Gina takes the money but doesn't leave town, instead the community opens its doors to her. Gloria and Abe Davis (black family) get in trouble with the law for letting Gina (a white woman) stay at their home. However, Mike Sloan comes to their defense and clears the tension. Finally Gina accepts the invitation to live with the Hailey family in their small apartment. It's poetry in motion, when Jeff Metcalf sends an anonymous poem to Sarah Brewer (Hank Metcalf's sweetheart). Instead, Hank finds the poem and decides to profess his undying love for Sarah, who in turn loses her virginity to Hank Metcalf. | |
