"Howdy Doody" Summary
 
Howdy Doody was a children's show that ran from 1947 to 1960. When the show had first came out, it immediately became a huge hit.

The host of the show was Buffalo Bob. A feature of the show was a peanut-gallery, and on-stage bleachers, which held approximately 45 children. The character, Howdy Doody, was a red-haired, freckled-face marionette, who happened to be the star of the show. Other characters were Howdy's sister, Heidi Doody, Dilly Dally, Mr. Bluster, Flub-A-Dub, and Princess Summerfall Winterspring. Although, not all the characters were puppets. There were also many human characters, as well. They included Clarabel Clown, Chief Thunderthud, and later, Princess Summerfall Winterspring was eventually played by an actress. The characters live in the town of Doodyville.
