Sonny and Will's financial future rides on a racing greyhound they received in lieu of a payment. Run into a slump because of mysterious competion broker Don Driscoll (Charles Haid) is unable to pay cash to Sonny and Will for their delivery, so he signs over a valuable greyhound racing dog as payment. The boys need money to buy back their repossessed truck, so it's "off to the races"
