"Iron Chef" was a Japanese reality game-show competition TV series produced by Fuji TV. The original Japanese title was "Ironmen of Cooking" which is translated from (料理の鉄人, Ryōri no Tetsujin?). This show debuted on Fuji TV on 10 October 1993 as a 90 minute series but after only 23 episodes it was shortened to a 60 minute long show. The weekday series ended on 24 September 1999 after airing for 6 seasons however specials aired at least 4 times a year thereafter. There was a total of 300 original episodes of the regular series.
