Officer Whitfield (Anderson) is planted as a college journalism major to check on the editor of a college paper and his assistant after a series of bomb threats. The “Glad Bomber,” the name given by students to a clever bomber whose explosives are harmless, may have more lethal intentions in mind, according to Ironside (Burr). Members of the Army Bomb Squad, involved in a personal feud, fail to identify the “Glad Bomber” and Ironside’s fears are realized when a real bomb causes tragedy...
