Episode Quotes
Eve: Chief, can I help you with that?
Ironside: Where do women get the idea that only women can tie men's ties?
Eve: From a man, of course.

Frank: Bob, your badge is no good here, you know that.
Ironside: I'm not trying to use my badge. All I want is to speak to Robert.
Frank Rousseau: You will speak, you will listen, you will get involved, and I will have all the newspapers screaming foreign intrusion of the police department. Bob, this is a very sensitive case. So far we haven't had anybody killed.
Ironside: That's why I want to speak to him.
Frank Rousseau: St-Jean-Baptiste will turn this into a cause celebre. Not only the city but the entire Country is going to take sides, pressure is going to be put on us. Especially now with the annual parade only a few days away. Thousands of people are going to jamming the street. St-Jean-Baptiste is the patron saint of the French Canadienne and as far as these people are concerned, me and my police we are traitors.
Ironside: Since when are you interested in popularity polls? I am talking about an accused prisoner and you're throwing public opinion at me.
Frank Rousseau: Maybe I am. But this is my public, my country and my headache.
