Last Resorts - Recap

Jem and the Holograms head for a vacation at a ski resort. Jem worries they need more time practicing their new number. When the girls check in the resort manager, Mr. Franklin is arguing with someone on the phone about money. Mr. Franklin tells the girls he is having trouble keeping business. Mr. Franklin thanks the girls for coming and the few loyal customer he has are out on the slops. The girls head out to do some skiing and run into The Misfits who clobber each of the girls with snow balls so Pizzazz can get Jem alone. Pizzazz knocks Jem to the ground with snowballs and the rest of The Misfits show up. A man named Svenson shows up and saves Jem and Rio acts all jealous even though Jem notes he is supposed to like Jerrica. Later, a bunch of customers are upset with Mr. Franklin over the accidents that are happening at the resort. Jem asks the customers to give Mr. Franklin a second chance and Jem and the Holograms will put on a concert at the end of the week. Eric Raymond shows up and Mr. Franklin tells Jem and the Holograms that Eric owns the neighboring resort taking all his business. Eric isn't happy to hear about his concert and sneaks unto the chair lift and loosens some screws. The next day Jem, Kimber, Aja and Shana are the the lift when the screws come loose and Shana struggles to hold on to Jem with her ski pole. Rio sees Svenson taking off and figures this is his chance to save Jem. Rio tries to scale along the ropes when he hears a helicopter pull up and Svenson saves the girls and Rio. Mr. Franklin feels he must close the resort before someone gets seriously hurt. Mr. Franklin goes to Eric's office where he overhears Eric talking about setting up the accidents and he busts in and promises revenge. Eric suggests that they have a ski contest between Jem and the Holograms and The Misfits. If The Misfits win, Eric gets control of the resort. Jem worries this will interview with their concert but they agree to the contest. The Misfits find ways to rig the ski course and put the Hologram's lives in danger. Rio and Svenson worry when they see The Misfits cross the finish line with no sign of Jem and the Holograms and they set off on the course to find the girls. Jem is trapped in a cave because of the avalanche and Rio hears her screaming when a bear tries to attack her. Jem tries to use the earrings for help but realizes they must of been hit when Roxy hit her ear in the race. Jerrica ends up reappearing and Rio is confused but Jerrica get the earring and is back to being Jem and Synergy saves Rio from the bear. Jem and Rio notices something glittering. Eric is gloating about winning the contest when Jem and Rio show up and show the silver to Mr. Franklin and tell him he can pay off his mortgage with all the silver they found in the save. Eric is once again bested by Jem.
