Eliot Ness and his special squad of Federal agents known as "the Untouchables" continue to take the fight to the criminal empire of Al Capone but pay a high price along the way including the loss of an agent and the death of a prized informant. Eventually, thanks partially to their efforts, Capone is indicted and convicted of income tax evasion and sentenced to 11 years in prison. But Frank Nitti, Capone's right hand man and feared "enforcer" is still at large.......

Robert Stack as Eliot Ness and Abel Fernandez as William Youngfellow were the only "Untouchables" who retained their roles during the regular series. The characters of Martin Flaherty, Jack Rossman, and Lamar Kane were retained but played by other actors.
Bruce Gordon, Barbara Nichols, Richard Benedict, Herman Rudin, Wally Cassel, and Frank Wilcox would all reprise their roles from this episode in the premiere episode of The Untouchables entitled The Empty Chair.
