Bill Bellamy hosts the lively laughfest, which begins with a nationwide talent search for professional and aspiring comedians. Talent scouts travel across the country, searching for the funniest comics to compete for the ultimate prize - an exclusive talent contract with NBC and a comedy special on Bravo.
Auditions for the 6th Season were held in the following cities on the following dates:
New York City on February 7 and February 8, 2008 at Gotham Comedy Club.
Toronto, Ontario, Canada on February 14 at Yuk-Yuks. Judges: Dave Foley and Richard Kind.
Minneapolis, Minnesota on February 19 at the Acme Comedy Club. Judges: Brian Baumgartner and Kate Flannery (from The Office).
Houston, Texas on February 22 at the Houston Improv. Judges: Neil Flynn and Alfonso Ribeiro.
Tempe, Arizona on February 26 at the Tempe Improv. Judges: Leslie David Baker and Kathy Najimy.
San Francisco, California on February 29 at Cobb's Comedy Club. Judges: Josh Gomez and French Stewart.
Nashville, Tennessee on March 3 at Zanies. Judges: George Wendt and John Ratzenberger.
