| 54 :02x15 - The Stranger (Jan/17/1960) | Troop is forced to kill a gun slinger in the Birdcage. He gets a letter shortly thereafter threatening revenge. When the dead man's father comes to town he hears a local blowhard claim his son was just a fun-loving kid gunned down for no good reason by the Marshal. When he points a shotgun at the Marshal, Johnny steps in between them and talks him down.

| 55 :02x16 - The Wolfer (Jan/24/1960) | Wolf hunter Pike Reese claims to have captured the wolf that's been ravaging livestock in the area but he wants $10,000 or he'll release him. Carl Haydn shoots the wolf in the cage and later turns up dead. Dan has to go after Reese and barely escapes with his life.

| 56 :02x17 - The Hardcase (Jan/31/1960) | Beth Denning arouses men and causes trouble when she comes to town. When she is found unconscious, Roy Grant is accused of assaulting her. A lynch mob forms which the lawmen are able to keep at bay without violence until Beth regains consciousness and names the real culprit.

| 63 :02x24 - Thirty Minutes (Mar/20/1960) | Bad guy Jake Wilson kills a man in the Bird Cage who recognizes him as a wanted man. He and Johnny exchange gun fire and both are hit. Lily has no idea if Johnny is alive or dead. Wilson uses Lily and the others to facilitate his release. He forces the Marshall to disarm and intends to kill him on his way out.
