	Gus, the Fireman, played by Burt Mustin Gus is an elderly fireman in charge of an auxiliary firehouse near the Cleaver house. Beaver drops in from time to time to chat with him. Gus is a good friend to Beaver and helps him cope with difficult situations by giving him sound advice.
