After an exhausting search for the caps, the boys rush to the company for their new bike. The only problem is no one there knows about the promotion. Aunt Martha gives Beaver a family heirloom ring which he is told not to wear to school. Instead of wearing it on his finger, he ties it to a string and wears it around his belt loop. It eventually gets on his finger and becomes stuck, and Wally tells Beaver the only way to get it off is to cut his finger off.

Beaver becomes frightened when he finds out the dentist is going to drill his tooth. He has heard horror stories from his friends about how much it hurts. Beaver starts to scream when he gets in the dentists chair, but the dentist tells Beaver that he will give him every toy in the toy box if the drilling hurts. Beaver admits that the drilling didn't hurt. Of course Beaver doesn't take every toy, but he does take a few toy soldiers.

When Larry returns he explains that he owed the school fifty cents and the man took Ward's change. As Larry makes his way to repay Beaver, Whitey and Gilbert convince him that they should see a movie instead and then have a soda.

Richard is caught throwing rocks and breaking the windows of an old abandoned house. When the police ask him his name and address, he gives them Beaver's name and address. When the police show up at Beaver's house, they obviously let him go because he isn't the same kid they caught. Later on Richard apologizes.

Ward's new car is only a week old, but he still lets Wally drive it to the prom. One of the headlights accidentally smashes to pieces, but Wally and his friends are able to fix it before Ward and June find out about it. Wally decides to tell the truth to his parents at the end anyway.

He doesn't get the reaction he was expecting when he tries his new hairdo out on his family.

Ward quickly finds problems with the car and he helps Wally look elsewhere giving Wally tips on the process of used car shopping.

However, Wally and Eddie will be there after they get jobs parking the guest's cars. However, trouble ensues when Eddie parks Fred's car in a no parking spot and the car gets towed away by the city.

Beaver and Gilbert go to a carnival and Beaver surprisingly wins a fourteen caret gold locket in one of the carnival games. Beaver thinks about giving it to June but thanks to Gilbert, Beaver decides to give it to a girl whom he has a crush on. However, soon it becomes apparant that this was a mistake when the girl's parents discover Beaver's gift.

Howver, the tramp quickly takes advantage and helps himself to more than a glass of water.

June, Ward and Wally round up all the old clothes they can find and put them in a box and right next to the box are three good suits of Ward's that are to be cleaned and of course Beaver mistakes them as items for the clothing drive. This leaves Ward with the task of asking for the suits back.
