Wally and his friends decide to build a clubhouse and charge eighth graders one dollar to get in, while Beaver has to pay three dollars. In order for Beaver to raise money to get in the club, he walks around the streets with a sign that offers space for rent, fifty cents for his front and seventy-five cents for his back. By the end of the show, Beaver has given all his money to Pete, a lazy old man who lies to Beaver with a sob story of his hungry family.
