Aunt Martha is taking care of Ward and the boys while June visits her sister. Martha takes Beaver shopping and buys him an Eton jacket, short pants, knee-length socks, and a cap. Aunt Martha insists Beaver wear the outfit to school. Beaver hides out in school al day and tries to sneek out, only to find his friends waiting for him. He is then teased by his schoolmates. The following day, Ward permits Beaver to wear his regular clothes to school, changing in the garage, without letting Martha in on the secret. Beaver is grateful for his father's understanding.
