Ward is shocked one day in the golf club locker room when Bill Boothby hints that they might be hearing wedding bells soon since his daughter Evelyn and Wally have been dating. This worries Ward because this is the first time he has even heard about it. June and Ward hope that Wally will realize that marriage is not something to be taken lightly, and ultimately Wally sees that he isn't quite ready for that kind of commitment.
