* Vegetable oil to coat a kitchen floor and trip the bad guys
* Garden hose as a trip wire
* Hollow reeds mounted perpendicular on a piece of bark, to convince the bad guys someone is underwater using them to breathe
* Blowgun from hollow reeds and wood slivers, paralytic poison from plant sap
* Jacket filled with branches as a decoy
* Rock with an edge to cut a tree branch and drop it on the villains' jeep.
* Pine cones covered in pitch as land mines
* Iron pyrite mixed with clay to make an antibiotic
* Floating grain in an enclosed room, set off with a match to explode
* Fishing string to tug a curtain and lure in a bad guy (Harry uses this one)
* Sawing through a porch post part way to bring it down on the bad guy
