Episode Quotes |

Man #1: Perhaps MacGyver's too formidable, even for you.
Murdoc: MacGyver is terribly clever, but then, so am I. You see, I do have one very definite advantage over him. He fights fair. (throws a hidden knife) I cheat. | Murdoc: What's the matter, MacGyver? You don't look happy to see me.
MacGyver: Yeah, go figure. | Murdoc: The death of MacGyver: Scene 1... Action! | Murdoc: "Better death through chemistry," that's what I always say. | Murdoc: So long, MacGyver. Rest in pieces. | MacGyver: For all I know, your dad could have sent me.
Amy Walker: Oh, no way. The guys he sends are flashy. You know, suits, haircuts. Not like you.
MacGyver: Thanks. I think. | (impersonating MacGyver)
Murdoc: Definitely Murdoc's work. I could fix it if I only had some duct tape. | Sheriff: We've looked all over the bottom of that shaft. You sure this fellow Murdoc fell in?
MacGyver: Let me guess. No body, right?
Sheriff: We'll keep lookin'. He's got to be down there. No way a fella could have survived a fall like that.
MacGyver: You don't know Murdoc. |

MacGyverisms:
* Flattened shot from a shotgun shell, melted with the gunpowder. The shotgun, opened to load and forming a V, placed over a wire trigger. Finally, using the flattened shot to weld the wires to either side of the shotgun to keep the wire on either side in place while cutting the wire in the middle to crawl through the gap.
