Outsiders tells the story of a single mother and her teenage son who run a small riding school with the help of a local teenager. They are suddenly joined by the woman's niece who recently lost her mother, a troubled girl who has been expelled from numerous schools and a boy who has been in and out of foster homes all of his life. The odd group gels while learning to ride and care for the horses. As can be expected, various crises, adventures and mysteries come their way.
