A romantic comedy by Rumiko Takahashi, the woman who brought the world Ranma 1/2 and Inuyasha, Maison Ikkoku is a simple story of a young man striving to become a responsible adult while trying to earn the love of his mysterious apartment house manager.
Yusaku Godai is a ronin, or a student trying to pass his entrance exams into college. He is thwarted in his attempts by his obnoxious, noisy, and meddlesome neighbors. He has just about had enough when the beautiful Kyoko Otonashi enters the picture.
Godai falls madly in love with her but his social status and her mysterious past keep him from expressing his true feelings for her. To make matters worse his neighbors and the handsome Shun Mitaka enter the picture and try and mess up poor Godai's plans even further.
Maison Ikkoku is a charming little series about love, loss and learning to love again, despite the insanity life throws at you some times. | This Show Has 1 recaps |
