 "Man Against Crime" Summary

Ralph Bellamy plays tough private-eye Mike Barnett in this low-budget and intense TV series (aka "Follow That Man") from the early 1950s. Created by Lawrence Klee for the Dumont Network in 1949, this program was originally broadcast live until 1952. The end voiceover by Bellamy intoned: "This is Mike Barnett, private investigator, duly licensed for the State of New York. If you're tuning at the same channel, the same time next week you'll see another exciting case reenacted from my private files. Many of the situations have been fictionalized, but what you've witnessed will be portrayed substantially as it happened and acted on the spot exactly where it happened. You'll witness what occurred in each case where I was assigned in Follow that Man"
