Episode Quotes

Bret: Well, if you'll excuse me, I think I'll say good night.
Carl: That was a short day.

Bret: (to Jenny) Ma'am when you sing there just isn't much poker bein' played.

Bret: Sometimes it's better to quit before you win too much. That way you don't wear out your welcome.

Bret: (to Jenny) Do you really think I'd have to be simple to be honest with you?

Bret: (to Big Mike) You're about the guiltiest looking innocent person I've ever seen.

Bret: (to Big Mike) You don't look like the world's worst liar 'til you try tellin' the truth.

Bret: (about Jenny) If her husband wasn't alive I'd have to consider fallin' in love with her.

Jenny: What do you know about managing a singer?
Bret: Not a thing which is why I'm exactly what you need.

Jenny: Up to now, you've been traveling with me for nothing.
Bret: That was for love. This is business.

Carl: (after discovering Bret beaten up) What happened here?
Bret: I cut myself shavin'. Now help me up.

Analysis

Pretty good episode although it ends on a downer with Bret and the woman he's fallen in love with going their separate ways at the end.
