Half Life (2) - Recap

I'll start with some basic facts that you need to know from the Third Watch episode first. The NIH is summoned to NYC when a robbery suspect is having an aggressive virus that can't seem to be cured. Detective Faith Yogas of the NYPD helps the team to tract down the suspect's partner, who is also carrying the disease and is spreading it throughout NY. The suspect in custody is not answering any questions about the whereabouts of his partner.

While patients start to flood into the hospital, the team starts to search for answers. Frank went into one of the victim's workplace, a place where vile can be found. Through the security camera, we see that that victim stole the vile and may have given it to the suspect that is still in the loss.

After finding out that the suspect may be at a convention selling the vile, Connor and the NYPD head over to try to stop him. They see the suspect and go over to get him to surrender. Instead, the suspect takes out the vile and threatens to release it in public. He throws the can with the vile and run. Connor studies the can, but says that this isn't the source.

The team then thinks the virus may be from a smuggled animal since there was a lion in the suspect's house at the beginning of the episode. The best way to smuggle animals in the US is through sea. They search the harbor docks and found the infected ship. Connor and the NYPD head to the ship and find the infected monkey. They also find the infected suspect that is on the loss-dead.
