Narrator: The story you're about to see hasn't happened. Yet. These are scenes from that story that will happen someday as Man begins to make repeated probes to the moon. As in other fields, there will be some mechanical failures and some human failures. This is the story of the attempted rescue of a spaceship in trouble and of her crew, sealed helplessly within her cabin.
Lt. Neil Templeton: Hope we hit terra firma on time, Captain. I got me a date with a redhead. My wife.
Capt. Dan Freer: At your service, Lieutenant. Far be it from me to louse up an Air Force man's schedule.
