Mister Rogers' Neighborhood

Mister Rogers' Neighborhood

Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood is a series that focuses on Fred Rogers, a calm and gentle man, who stops by an apartment on his way home from work in order to speak directly to the viewers. He often talks on various subjects, from how to release your anger in a positive fashion to how to take care of animals, though he likes to take the viewers on various trips in order to permit them to see people who are performing various activities. Mr. Rogers also has a toy trolley in his apartment, which can go through a tunnel in order to arrive at the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, which is ruled by King Friday XIII and the rest of his puppet subordinates.

Mr. Rogers is visited by Mr. McFeely and they both watch a video in how artists can go to a special college in order to specialize in making art when they grow up. Meanwhile, in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, the citizens of the kingdom learn the truth as to why Lady Elaine Fairchilde has been so cruel during her time in the kingdom, though they decide to do something special for her in order to make her feel better. However, Lady Elaine Fairchilde does something in return for her friends as well, which permits the art festival and the series to end on a very special note.

MISTER ROGERS' NEIGHBORHOOD CASTRating: 2 likes, 0 dislikes

I loved this show! Fred had such a calm demeanor and such kindness in his voice. I loved his singing and I grew up to be a singer as well. There was one character on the show that was my favorite and he is not listed here. It was Daniel Striped Tiger who lived in a giant clock, Such a sweet, loving character! Even when I was a small child I loved cats and still do to his day. Great memories from the past and from a great quality TV show! I sure miss it. Read more
