Mr. Rogers talks to a group of panelists about how they should talk to their children about divorce, should a time arrive where the parents actually do get a divorce. In doing such, he sets the stage for this week’s story arch.

Mr. Rogers is visited by Mr. McFeely, who talks to him about his marriage with his wife. Meanwhile, in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Prince Tuesday learns of divorce when he meets a little girl whose parents were already divorced.

Mr. Rogers heads over to Chef Brockett’s bakery in order to look at some pretzels getting made. Meanwhile, in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, King Friday XIII and Queen Saturday get into an argument, which causes Prince Tuesday to think they’re going to get divorced.
 
608 :11x04 - Divorce (3) (Feb/18/1981)
Mr. Rogers talks to the viewers about a time in which he had driven an electric vehicle. Meanwhile, in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Prince Tuesday has run away from home because he is worried that his parents may be fighting because of something he did.
 
609 :11x05 - Divorce (4) (Feb/19/1981)
Mr. Rogers heads over to Handyman Negri’s shop in order to examine some music instruments. Meanwhile, in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Prince Tuesday speaks with his parents in regards to why he ran away.
 
610 :11x06 - Divorce (5) (Feb/20/1981)
Mr. Rogers takes out a modern movie mask that changes the way his face looks, though he talks to the viewers about how he’s still the same individual he always was. Meanwhile, in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Prince Tuesday attempts to console Chuck Aber, who has been divorced from his wife and he isn’t able to see his children too often.

Mr. Rogers talks to a group of panelists about the subject of competition, and how to talk to children about the said subject. In doing such, he sets the stage for the week’s story arch.

In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, King Friday XIII announces that the kingdom will be holding an art contest, though Lady Elaine Fairchilde decides that she wants to do anything it takes to win.
 
612 :11x09 - Competition (2) (Jun/02/1981)
Mr. Rogers decides to visit an art museum in order to speak with the viewers about the art inside. Meanwhile, in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Henrietta Pussycat becomes distraught by the fact that X is being visited by an old friend of his.
 
613 :11x10 - Competition (3) (Jun/03/1981)
Mr. Rogers heads over to Chef Brockett’s bakery in order to speak with him about something he said to another individual. Meanwhile, in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Big Bird decides to enter his drawing into King Friday XIII’s contest.
 
614 :11x11 - Competition (4) (Jun/04/1981)
Mr. Rogers heads over to a dance class in order to speak with one of the dancers. Meanwhile, in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Betty Aberlin realizes that Ana Platypus also has a picture to enter into the contest.
 
615 :11x12 - Competition (5) (Jun/05/1981)
Mr. Rogers asks Mr. McFeely for help when he wishes to gain enough colors to draw a rainbow. Meanwhile, in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, King Friday XIII selects a winner for his art contest.
 
616 :11x13 - Play (1) (Jul/20/1981)
In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Bob Dog attempts to climb a tree to get a ball out of it, though he falls and injures his leg. In shock over what happened in his kingdom, King Friday XIII implements a law that prevents anybody from ever playing again.
 
617 :11x14 - Play (2) (Jul/21/1981)
In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Elaine Fairchilde coaxes the other citizens of the kingdom to move to another neighborhood where they may be able to play at their will.
 
618 :11x15 - Play (3) (Jul/22/1981)
In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, the children at the local school head to the Museum-Go-Round’s old location and they decide to play right in front of King Friday XIII, in which the king’s own son expresses his discontent for the new rule.
 
619 :11x16 - Play (4) (Jul/23/1981)
In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, King Friday XIII decides that play is important in the world and he decides to remove his previous law, though he isn’t sure if Lady Elaine Fairchilde will want to return.
 
620 :11x17 - Play (5) (Jul/24/1981)
Mr. Rogers heads outside of his apartment and he sits on his porch, in which he speaks with some of his neighbors. Meanwhile, in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Bob Dog and Purple Panda decide to work together to get Lady Elaine Fairchilde and the Museum-Go-Round back to the kingdom.
