Wasn't this show considered for CBS?
Yes. CBS was given a chance to pick up the show. They declined and UPN bought the series.

Wasn't there more brothers with Moesha?
No. Brandy's previous Thea featured her with three brothers and a single mother. That series was canceled and almost immediately Brandy started on this series with most of the staff from Thea and Yvette Wilson.
None of the other cast members appeared on Moesha, however many Thea guest stars did.

Why was Sheryl Lee Ralph removed from the final season?
She did not like the direction the series was going and like many others was very vocal about it. So her role during the final season was reduced.

How many versions of the theme song were there?
There are four verions. The first version was used during the first two seasons. The third and fourth featured slightly different versions. The final two seasons featured the last version.

What's the Girlfriends link to the series?
In the episode That's My Mamma,. Dorian is introduced to Maya Wilks as a member of his birth mother's sister. However Girlfriends states that Maya is an only child.
