Great episode. Mork shows his human side here. Mork learns that Cora's friend has died and she is depressed. She is not depressed about getting old moreover depressed that a friend is gone.
Since Mork has a machine that can make him young or old he decides to advance his age so that he can be a companion to Cora. A nice gesture that works as Cora gets herself out of the depression.
Mork though tells Mindy and her Dad that the old guy she is seeing is really him much to their disastisfaction.
I really loved the episode. I really don't know why they opted to write out Elizabeth Kerr and Conrad Janis in favor of Jay Thomas and Gina Hecht. Their characters were simply not interesting and somewhat lame. I know the writers were probably writing them for a younger audience and to make the show look hip but they didn't need to.
I loved all the episodes with Janis and Kerr more than the later years and it's not surprising that the show failed in the ratings in the later years.
Anyways, this is a great episode. What Mork did was great. The makeup effects done were convincing. Robin Williams in typical Genius fashion can practically play any role given to him young or old.
