While visiting an old college friend at an exclusive resort, Jessica gets involved with a murder investigation of her ex-husband, a domineering show-business personality who made several enemies before his death. Through the course of the investigation, Jessica begins to suspect that his murder was the result of a mob hit, but as she digs deeper into the case, she discovers that the detective in charge may have something to hide about the murder.
