|
As Harry Pierce works to get a high-rise hotel near the Cabot Cove harbor, several environmental activists start picketing the hotel site. When the businessman that Harry is working with tries to get the activists to leave the site so he crews can start their work, the remains of a man several residents believe to Joshua Peabody, Cabot Cove’s Revolutionary War hero. However, there are other residents who that the remains belong to someone else and when Jessica and Sheriff Tupper try to straighten everything out, they discover the body of the businessman financing the hotel in the excavation site. It is at this point when their investigation goes down a different path and they soon discover that a newscaster covering the events has a history with the murdered man and knows more about his death than she is letting on.
