Following her arrival to visit an old friend named Lloyd Marcus, Jessica is besieged by him to read a friend’s manuscript while she is in town. In addition to that, Jessica gets caught up in a murder investigation when Lloyd’s daughter Julia is found dead in her home following an attempted art robbery. When Julia’s husband is considered the prime suspect and Lloyd looks to be facing accessory charges in the art thefts, Jessica has to set out to prove their innocence.
