After Sheriff Tupper’s sister left her husband and arrives in Cabot Cove, she tries to move on by setting her sights on Seth. However, when her husband and his siblings arrive unannounced to take her back home Amos is less than thrilled when they make themselves at home at his residence. When Jessica gets involved with Winnie’s family drama and invites everybody over for dinner, things take a turn for the worse when Winnie’s husband dies during the meal. To make matters worse for Amos while he is trying to figure out how Elmo died, he has to deal with a new deputy and a mysterious stranger that’s been hanging around town.
