Episode Summary

As the residents of Cabot Cove prepare for their annual Christmas festivities, one of the prominent families announces the engagement of their daughter to Charlie McComber, a Gulf War veteran. When it looks like he is being blackmailed by Wanda Andrews, the personal assistant of they mayor, an attempt on her life is made and Charlie is the prime suspect. It is during Jessica’s investigation that she discovers that the shooter was involved in embezzling city funds and decided to frame Charlie for it.
