Why was the first Claire replaced?
Jazz left the series after her mother disapproved of the season 2 storyline with one of Claire's friends being pregnant. Since this was not made public until the fouth season, many viewed it as a dark skinned girl being replaced by a bright skinned one. Thus many refused to support the series since.
