Episode Quotes
Flint: (flashing badge) Police officer.
Beth: Yes, sir, that's what it says all right.

Flint: Now, Miss, let's get something straight. You're in trouble and there's nothing friendly about it. You'd better not make any offers you're gonna be ashamed of later on when you come down off that cloud you're on. May I see your license please?
Beth: Wouldn't it be funny if it turned out you're the one that's in trouble?

Flint: Still wanna marry a cop?
Libby: Uh huh. I'm eager.

Brayson: (to the Rydeckers) I often think about how each new case is like a journey through the wilderness. You expect thorns, brambles, thickets. Not a well laid out path.

Beth: Mother, I can't do this. I feel dirty.
Mrs. Rydecker: And how did you feel when you smiled at the nice police officer, dear?

Brayson: (to Gardillo) There are only three possibilities that explain your performance: one, you disbelieve him and you're feeding him to me piece by piece; two, you're so afraid of the great Jerry Brayson that your mind is paralyzed, or you're an incompetent who cheated to pass his bar exam.
