Ray Bolger, the wonderful song and dance veteran of stage, screen and television, makes a rare appearance as Nanny's Uncle Horace, who has been living in the South Seas. He arrives in the States seeking a job so he can earn money to buy an island bridge. He convinces a local TV station he can make rain with his dancing when a few drops fall while he's cavorting.
