When two teenagers rob a convenience store and end up murdered, Nina and Tommy, who continue to clash, unknowingly stumble across the suspect. While J.C. and Eddie rush to the scene, Nina freezes in the heat of the battle, leaving Tommy open to danger. Tommy makes it clear that he will not work with her again. With her self-esteem eroded, Nina decides to turn in her gun. J.C. reaches the end of his rope when "G" gets caught hanging out with a crew of young thieves.
