Episode Quotes
Dan: Women who interest me wouldn't write Valentines.
Selma: Even if they knew how.

David: Look, it is just not going to work out.
Billie: Give me one good reason why not!
David: I'm a criminal, you're a lawyer.
Billie: So? Two-career couples are very fashionable these days.

Cultural References
The bird statue Harry is staring at in the final scene is from the classic film The Maltese Falcon.

Billie: Everybody gets all excited like they think he's Al Capone or something. Well, look what he did on Valentine's day.

Al Capone was long believed to be the mastermind behind the February 14, 1929 murders of seven members of rival Bugs Moran's gang in a garage on North Clark Street in Chicago. Capone was in Florida at the time of the killings and therefore had an alibi and was never charged.
