The hooker is named after the title character of the 1968 film that starred Jane Fonda as Barbarella.

Petticoat Junction was a sitcom that aired on CBS from 1963 until 1970. It was one of numerous "rural" based sitcoms on CBS, including The Andy Griffith Show and The Beverly Hillbillies. The series Green Acres was a spin-off of Petticoat Junction.
