Episode Quotes
Dan: Listen, Roz, I want to tell you how much I appreciate you not letting on to the others what really happened on that elevator.
Roz: I don't want people to know the truth about that.
Dan: That I was a lowdown, sniveling coward?
Roz: No. They already know that.

Harry: Littering, loitering, trespassing. Mac, we're in a rut! Where have all the interesting cases gone? (Roz escorts two sumo wrestlers in) Sumo wrestlers? Again?

Harry: Art! How is everything here?
Art: Rotten. We just had an earthquake here, y'know.
Dan: If there's another one, I suggest we take refuge in his skull.

Harry: We've gotta find somebody that speaks Japanese.
Bull: How tall?
Harry: (rolling eyes and thinking) Five-seven.
Bull: Good choice!

Art: Where the heck was my head?
Harry: (patting Art on the head) Out of appreciation for your help for us, Art, I'm not gonna answer that.

Dan: I'm claustrophobic, all right?
Roz: You? A man who had sex in a broom closet?

Episode Goofs
When the camera angle changes a paper bag that had not been on Harry's bench appears.

Mac moves the boom box off Harry's bench but when the camera angle changes the boom box is still sitting on the bench and Mac moves it again.

Cultural References
Christine: I couldn't help but notice your badge. Are you a Camp Fire Girl?

The Camp Fire Girls is a youth organization that began in 1910 as a girls' alternative to the Boy Scouts (two years before the Girls Scouts were formed). The organization became co-ed in the mid-1970's and eventually changed their name from "Camp Fire Girls" to just "Camp Fire."

Dan: (from elevator) Thank you, Mr. Wizard.

Don Herbert (1917-2007) was known as "Mr. Wizard" and hosted Mr. Wizard's World, a Peabody Award-winning science show primarily designed for children. It originally ran on NBC from 1951 until 1965.

Sumo Wrestler: Hungry!
Roz: Let's hope they never heard of the Donner party.

"The Donner party" was a group of 19th century pioneers (the Donner-Reed party) who left Missouri for California in 1846. The harsh winter conditions and lack of food and supplies claimed about half of the 87 people in the group. Many have speculated that some in the group resorted to cannibalism in order to survive.

Episode References
Dan: I once spent the whole night in a drain pipe.
Roz: Too cheap to spring for a motel room?
Dan: I was eight years old.
Roz: Why'd you do that?
Dan: (sighing) It was on a dare.

This establishes that Dan suffers from claustrophobia and explains why he's claustrophobic.
