Episode Quotes
Christine: (trying to work Rubik's cube) Darn! Double darn!
Roz: I love it when she talks dirty.

Christine: What did you do, win the lottery?
Harry: Better.
Roz: Mel Tormé finally signed your adoption papers?

Dan: Let's face it, Harry. I'm all washed up.
Harry: Come on, Dan. So you....
Dan: Say it.
Harry: You....
Dan: Come on, man. Say it!
Harry: You had a little trouble launching the ol' love boat.
Dan: We are talking stuck in dry dock, Harry!

Harry: Come on. Every red-blooded American male has had to face this problem at one time or another in his life.
Dan: Has it ever happened to you?
Harry: Hell no!

Bull: Knock-knock!
Harry: You guys ready to do it?
Roz: Some more than others.

Mac: Sir? May I ask you a question about Joy?
Harry: Sure.
Mac: Can I kill her?

Cultural References
Joy: Ooh, who's this, the missing Osmond?

The Osmond family of singers and actors, devout Mormons, are known for their clean-cut image.

Toni: Well, let's find out, Steely Dan!

Steely Dan is a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame group fronted by Walter Becker and Donald Fagen. The band's name comes from William S. Burroughs' 1959 novel Naked Lunch.

Dan: Look, a fireplace! That's great. And a refrigerator! Keeps the hot side hot and the cold side cold!

"Keeps the hot side hot and the cool side cool" was a slogan used by McDonald's for the packaging of their sandwich known as the McDLT, introduced in 1985. The meat and vegetable toppings were put in separate sides of a package in order to keep the warmth of the meat from radiating to the lettuce and tomatoes.

Dan: You know those disgusting, animalistic urges I used to torment you with?
Christine: Yes?
Dan: They're ba-ack!

Dan says "they're ba-ack" with the same intonation as Carol Ann (Heather O'Rourke) used in uttering the line in Poltergeist II.
