A woman, Ann Bolt, is driving home in a storm. When she becomes lost, she pulls up to a home and parks in the garage. There is a steel door and a woman on an intercom invites her to come inside to get directions. The house is decorated in a strange futuristic style and the woman, Pat Blessington, comes down to greet her. She says that her husband, David, is making coffee. When Ann asks to see the phone, Pat takes her to a videophone and Sandra hesitantly dials her number. She gets a busy signal, and Pat suggests that she program it to try again...
