Night Heat

Night Heat told stories of the detectives of the "mid south precinct" of a generic North American city probably intended to suggest New York. These were chronicled by reporter Tom Kirkwood. The series was filmed in Canada (specifically, in Toronto) and Canadian landmarks snuck into scenes frequently. It aired on CTV and was also the first Canadian produced show to air in the United States (late nights on CBS).
