Jubei realizes how difficult his life is going to be while in possession of this Dragon Stone. He attempts to rest in an abandoned town, but is attacked by several ninjas who all want the sacred stone. He makes quick work of them and continues his search for the Light Maiden. Meanwhile, Shigure wanders in to trouble of her own until she's saved by a young thief and an old monk.
