Based on the real life experiences of the show's creator and executive producer, Susan Beavers, Oh Baby followed the adventures of Tracy Calloway a single woman who decides to have a baby by artificial insemination. She not only has to deal with pregnancy, birth and being a single mother, she must put up with the advice of various friends and co-workers... not to mention her own mother.
