One Step Beyond: The Vision

During World War I, three French soldiers throw down their weapons and walk serenely away from their trench. Charged with desertion, which carries the death penalty, they tell their defense counsel that a vision prompted their actions. Their counsel is disbelieving at first but then he hears that German troops across the front line have done the same thing.
