| Thanks to the Writing, I'm Finally Enjoying the Storylines.

!!!!!! This review contains spoilers !!!!!!
Lately, I have to say that I have been truly enjoying the storyline of Passions. I absolutely love the way Theresa finally found her backbone when it comes to Ethan when she told him to leave her alone.
Of the storylines that aired today, the one I didn’t like that much was when Kay and Tabitha were talking upstairs, mainly because of the way Fox is lying to her. I’m still waiting for the day to come when Kay realizes what he did to keep her away from Miguel.
Now, onto the storylines that I really liked today: Jared and Ethan fighting over Theresa, and the scenes at the Lopez-Fitzgerald home. It’s nice to see Ethan squirming over the fact that he can’t have Theresa since she finally moved on with her life and the path that she is on doesn’t include him. He chose not to believe Theresa in order to stay with Gwen and if doesn’t like the decision he made, then too bad for him. I absolutely love the way Theresa, Jared, and even Chad pointed this fact out to him several times.
What I liked about the scenes at Pilar’s house was how the family interacted with one another; too bad Paloma wasn’t there with them. What I found to be comical was Miguel saying how he wasn’t hungry, yet he began eating Luis’ breakfast, then a bag of chips, and then a slice of toast Theresa threw onto Luis’ chest. It was with that little piece of toast that made me laugh out loud: the food fight that the siblings started while Pilar looked on from behind the island. It was really refreshing to laugh at the fun time they appeared to be having instead of cringing at the various escapades that ultimately get them into trouble.
Lastly, regarding Sheridan’s storyline and how she is dealing with Luis and Fancy’s relationship: while I’m glad she’s finally becoming a stronger person, what I don’t like about her is the way the writers are having her go from being as evil as her father to how she was before Luis and Fancy became a couple. Keep her as the evil Crane for a while; I like the direction her character is going.
Ultimately, the writing in today’s episode shows how the writing quality of the show seems to be improving. I really hope the storylines go along in this direction. If it does, then there will be a lot of happy “Passions” fans out in T.V. Land.
